I use alot of clorox cleanup around my kitchen to keep it disinfected. I even use it to wash my dishes along with the dish detergent. this is a good tip if you don’t have a diswasher..

  2. Sara Wicks says

dont let the dishes get out of control, as you are cooking put things away when your done using them, clean the kitchen after dinner so when you wake up in the am your kitchen will already be cleaned and dishes and what not are ready for the new day.

  3. says

Keep the kids out of it! lol

    Real tip

Unload/Reload dishwasher while you cooking the next meal. You have to be in there anyway might as well multitask.

  4. says

My best tip for keeping my kitchen clean is washing dishes as I go. I feel so much better sitting down to a meal when at least some of the countertops are clean!

  5. says

I keep an ice cream bucket in my sink with soapy, bleach water. My sponges and sham-wow rags go in the water constantly all day to wipe up spills and messes and generally wipe counters down. It’s a great way to minimize germs breeding in the rags or sponges plus cuts down on cold germs spreading. This “bleach water” idea came from my Mom and originally my Grandma from Italy. She owned a boarding house and restaurant.

  6. Amber Wilkerson says

One tip I have is to wipe your faucet with a paper towel as well as your sink. Keeps it looking nice on not as spotty. :)

  7. Leona Evans says

I wipe everything down 2 or 3 times a day. The Kaboom cleaner is great for taking stains out of the kitchen sink. I love it & Bartender’s Friend is great for that too and also to keep my cookware shiny!

  8. Debra F says

My best tip is to wipe up spills right away. Less elbow grease is needed on a fresh spill. Especially if it is on your stovetop.

  9. Jennifer Hedden says

I clean as I go along. If I see something that needs to be done like something that needs to be wiped. I do it right then instead of waiting. Also I do the dishes and wipe the stove and countertops after every meal.

  10. Dawn Sando says

I keep Clorox wipes in the kitchen and wipe counters down everyday. They are very convenient and I could not live without them!! Thanks for the chance to win some paper towels!! :)

  11. Jackie says

I like to clean up messes as I make them, and we always put dishes in the dishwasher rather than leaving them in the sink.

  12. Deanna Pence says

I like to have a sink full of hot soapy water ready for when I start to cook, so I can put the pans in the water to soak.

  13. Mary Beth Elderton says

Rinse dishes when you put them in the sink whether you are going to wash them right away or not–this makes them so much easier to clean.

  14. Dianna Thomas says

I clean as I go, while preparing dinners– I do two at once,so I’m always doing dishes and wiping things done as I cook our meals. Everyone cleans up after themselves the best they can, with three, it can take sometime—but we all ate, so we all help clean up after the meal.

I’m entering on the rafflecopter with my FB username Mary Happymommy.

To keep my kitchen clean, I make sure to put everything away in the pantry and keep the counters uncluttered.

  16. Janice Cooper says

Rinse pots and pans immediately after using. This will help get any stains off fast. I also clean the top of my stove on a daily basis.

  17. says

I’ve just started the Fly Lady cleaning thing. The first thing on the list of stuff to do (and something that you need to do every single day from then on) is to clean you sink until it shines. I spent a good 30 minutes scrubbing and buffing. And, do you know, it made my whole kitchen look nicer. Now, every night after the dishes are done, I wipe down the cupboards, counter, and sink. It takes 2 minutes and I wake up to a clean kitchen every morning!

  18. Kayla Baity says

My kitchen stays clean if my daughter stays occupied, lol. If she is helping me in the kitchen she is always eager to help me clean up too. Thanks! :)

  19. Debbie Welchert says

I like to clean kitchen while I’m waiting for dinner to get done. When I’m done cleaning dinner is already done.

  20. Cheryl E says

I make sure I start my day off with an empty sink. It’s easy to let things pile up when you are already behind from the beginning.

  21. Gail Gray says

A single-edge razor will clean up a ceramic stovetop without scratching. I soft with some soapy water, zip, and the baked on food is gone!

  22. sarah says

dont let trash and dishes pile up! even when your kitchen is clean those things make it look dirty!

  23. says

Clean it daily, dont let the dishes pile up or you will never get caught up at least that is what it will seem like also have a sign on the kitchen door that says if you make the mess you are cleaning it up so you dont go to bed with a spotless kitchen and wake up in the morning with a sinkful of dishes and stuff stuck on your stove.

  24. Lora Mccracken says

I wash my pots, pans & utensils as I finish using them while I’m cooking. By doing this I have less dishes to wash after each meal. Plus I organize my kitchen to have items needed for cooking at arms length. This minimizes spills and stuff dropping on the floor.

  25. jodi leah baird says

are they really anything to keep a kitchen clean? lol i use alot of vinegar it will clean lots of water lots of things.

  26. penny hyde says

Don’t Cook. Eat out!!! That way, you start out with a clean kitchen and it stays that way!!!! Now, wish I could do this but I use Mr. Clean and spray, spray, spray!!!!

  27. Jessica G says

I wipe down all the counters and appliances every night after dinner using either Lysol kitchen cleaner or Lysol double sided wipes. Love the wipes that have the rough side cause it really gets off the stuff that sticks to the stove.

  28. Melissa Clark says

I always clean up while I’m cooking and I wipe everything in the kitchen down at least once a day with an anti-bacterial cleaner and paper towels.

  29. Charity says

Clean as you go :) I try to do this, doesn’t always work, so I take advantage of naptime or the kids’ bedtime to clean :)

  30. Brynn Dexter says

Pick up spills and messes when they happen, otherwise it will be a lot harder to clean and a lot more work later on.

  31. Brandi Price says

Instead of sittning the dishes in the sink just go ahead and sit them in the dishwasher! And wipe the stove before it cools off after you cook! Makes the messes come off easier!

  32. says

Thanks for a great giveaway! I love Bounty and refuse to buy any other brand. Some things you just can’t skimp on and my paper towels are one of them! :) The best tip I have for keeping my kitchen clean is to clean it as the mess is created. I do dishes while cooking, and wipe down counters and appliances as I pass through the kitchen and see a mess. It’s much easier than spending the whole day cleaning.

Magic Eraser the bottom of your white porcelain sink to get the stains and grime off. It immediately makes the whole kitchen seem fresher.
