  • My Mailbox Was FULL of Surprises!

Have you been emailing your favorite companies to request money saving coupons? If not, I recommend you start! It takes less than 5 minutes per company! Simply go to the companies website, find their “contact us” form and tell them why you like their products. Be specific on which products you like. Then ask if they could send you some money-saving coupons. I have received 14 personal typed letters in the last few weeks by doing this. The savings are adding up!

I posted an article this past Tuesday and we practiced writing to two companies, SoBe and McCormick, requesting money saving coupons. You can read the post here.

They sent me several money saving coupons today. SoBe sent three coupons for $0.50 off any one 20oz. SoBe Lifewater. They also sent a coupon for a buy one get one free (BOGO). Thanks, SoBe! These are currently on sale at Food Lion for 99 cents. I will get three for 50 cents each, and a free one with the BOGO coupon.

McCormick sent a $0.75 cent off any one dry seasoning mix (which should be free), and two for $0.75 any one item. If I can use these for dry seasoning mixes, they should be free. They sent a $1.00 off any two Recipe Inspirations Products, also. Thanks, McCormick!

Fourteen companies have sent personal typed letters in the last few weeks, all with money saving coupons (some for free products). These include:

McCormick, SoBe, Nestle Purina PetCare, Del Monte Foods, Haagen-Dazs, Kimberly Clark, The Hain Celestial Group, Clif Bar & Company, Lindsay Olives, Land O’ Lakes, Mario Camacho, Georgia Pacific, Skinny Cow, and Continental Mills.

I also received a very generous sample of Purina One catfood for my calico cat with a $1.00 off coupon on any size catfood. Nestle Start Healthy, Stay Healthy sent a Gerber Food guide for my toddler with two coupons for $0.75 off any two Gerber Graduates Meals/Snacks.

And the best surprise in the mail? A nice little check from the consignment store! PAYDAY! If you have any unwanted/unneeded household items or clothes, look up a consignment store in your area that will accept them. They usually pay pretty well and you don’t have to price or spend a day trying to sell everything like you would if you had a garage sale.

  • How to Contact Companies for Free Coupons

I received several free coupons in the mail today. Why am I receiving these coupons? I take the time (which takes less than 5 minutes for each company) to write my favorite companies online, requesting coupons. Read my post writing to companies for free coupons. At the end of this post, we will practice writing to a company. Are you excited yet??? You should be!

Skinny Cow sent me two coupons for $0.50 off any ice cream treats.

Georgia Pacifics Angel Soft sent me four $0.55 off any package of Angel Soft Bath Tissue.

Continental Mills sent me three $0.30 off coupons for any Krusteaz baking mixes.

I like their Wheat and Honey pancake mix.

I forgot that I had a $10.00 rebate check coming in the mail from Kraft Foods.

If you purchased a certain amount of food in a certain time period, you could get this rebate.

Wanna try writing a company? Let’s try writing Skinny Cow, since we know they are generous and send coupons.

    1. Head here to the Skinny Cow “Contact Us” form.
    2. Fill out the required information.
    3. At the bottom, type in your comment or question. Tell the company that you like their products (be specific on which ones) and tell them why you like them. Then simply ask if they could send you some money saving coupons.
    4. Hit send.
    5. Be patient and see if they send your coupons.
    6. See the full list of companies that you can write to!

I have received 11 personal typed letters in about two weeks. Try to write to your favorite companies. You just might have free coupons pouring in your mailbox. Some of them may be *FREE!*

  • Writing to Companies for Free Coupons

Have you been writing to companies for free coupons? If not, you are missing out. Read my article here on how I write to companies for coupons.

This last week I received two more letters in the mail. Below are the two companies and what each sent.

    1. Land O’ Lakes-

I used my $0.55 coupon today on their butter because the butter was on sale. You save more when you pair your coupon with a sale.

    2. Kimberly Clark Company- I never thought a coupon could be so pretty! These coupons can be used towards several Kimberly Clark products. Click here to see what I received last week from Mario Camacho Foods. I actually went and picked up my two free cans of olives today.

  • Free Coupons from Companies

I wrote a blog post a few days ago about writing to your favorite companies and requesting free coupons or free samples. You can read that post here.

Today I received a personal typed up letter from Mario Camacho Foods. I love their black olives and use them when cooking spaghetti and my homemade spaghetti. They sent me two $2.00 off coupons for their products and asked me to join in on their testing and tasting program, where they would send me samples occasionally.

    What does this mean?

I will get two Mario Camacho can of olives for free, because the cans I buy are less than $2.00. Thanks, Mario Camacho Foods!

Remember to go back and read the post mentioned above to see how you can write for coupons!
