Diamond Candle Ring Review

Do you know what a Diamond Candle ring is? What is a Diamond Candle?

I noticed that these candles were becoming popular very fast but I didn’t know what a Diamond Candle was. I saw advertisements for them on blogs and on Facebook. I did a little more research on these candles and found out that inside each candle, you will find a Diamond Candle ring worth up to $10-$5,000. Who wouldn’t want to find a surprise in their candle! I remember as a kid, I had fun trying to find the toys in cereal boxes and now you are telling me I will find a surprise in my candle? How fun! Almost all candles I know of don’t have any surprises in them, so this was something new and unique to me.

I did a little more research and wanted to see about how I could try and review a candle for myself and find a Diamond Candle ring, so I found the Diamond Candle website. First, I found out that Diamond Candles are earth friendly all natural soy candles made in the USA in Durham, NC. This was neat to me because I don’t live too far from Durham. Then, I decided to browse the scents and saw so many I liked including Cinnamon Roll, Cupcake, Vanilla Cream and more. I’m a huge fan of cafe or food scents! They also have floral, fresh, fruity, spice, summer, tropical, and woody scents available.

I had a few questions about the candles so I emailed customer service and was very pleased with the response time. In fact, within 5 minutes of emailing, I had a response–and my very first Vanilla Cream Diamond Candle was on it’s way. (Note: Normal response time is 1-2 days.)

My Vanilla Cream Diamond Candle arrived in a timely manner with my Diamond Candle ring inside. It was packaged well and I couldn’t wait to open it up! After opening up my candle, I was amazed with the scent. In fact, I didn’t even have to light the candle before the scent spilled into the entire room — this is the kind of scent where someone walks into your home and asks you what you are baking!

Now remember, these candles have a ring in them. By now you are probably wondering to yourself, “Where would the Diamond Candle ring be located and how do you get it out?” I wondered the exact same thing. On the outside of the candle you will see a little circle. The foil pouch is located near the circle. All you have to do is light the wick, let the candle burn, and enjoy the fragrance. Once the Diamond Candle ring is exposed (you will see the foil pouch) extinguish the flame, and wait for the wax to cool. Then, remove the pouch with something other than your fingers, like a pair of tweezers. Unwrap the foil pouch and you will see what new beautiful Diamond Candle ring was located inside your Diamond Candle.

It took me a while to find my matches. I was turning the house upside down in the process because I wanted to know what Diamond Candle ring was inside my candle. I was excited! After I found my matches, I lit the candle and waited patiently for a few hours…

…and then there it was. The foil pouch. My Diamond Candle ring. In the process of waiting for my Diamond Candle ring, I noticed how lovely my house smelled!

I told my husband about the Diamond Candle ring before we decided to dig it out. He was actually so excited about it that he wanted to dig it out himself. He didn’t believe me when I told him there was a ring inside! I let him have his fun and he grabbed the Diamond Candle ring out with the tweezers. We let the wax cool a little before unwrapping the ring.

My husband unwrapped the Diamond Candle ring slowly while I waited around anxiously (taking pictures!) Under the foil patch was a little plastic bag with my ring in it.

We took the Diamond Candle ring out and it was clean and shiny.

It fit, too! I loved the cut and the band. It had a yellow tint to the stone.

My husband told me it was very pretty on and we both had a fun time waiting to see what the mystery ring would be. Now, we want to purchase more Diamond Candles! It was that much fun.

How much is the ring worth? I really do not know, but plan to take it to a jeweler soon to find out! You can read more about the worth of your Diamond Candle ring.

I received my first Diamond Candle earlier this month. It was fantastic. A friend of mind labelled it as, “cracker jacks for women”. So, true!

I think the Diamond Candles would make a great gift this holiday season. I think the mystery part of not knowing what type of ring is in the candle is exciting. I would love to try the Gingerbread Latte during the holiday season.
