Halloween has already come and gone and when people hear the word “costumes,” they tend to think of Halloween. However, my daughter loves to be a “princess” year round, so these “costumes” are coming in handy at my house! We recently received a cute Sleeping Beauty costume. We picked this costume because we watched the movie recently and she fell in love with it.
I picked my daughter up from school and showed her the new costume and she wanted to put it on! I told her we needed to wait until we got home and sure enough, she was ready to play dress up once we walked in the door. My daughter currently has a few dresses in her collection and she plays dress up on a daily basis. She loves to put on the dress, tiara, and the shoes to go along with all of her costumes. I went to my local Walmart recently and found a full length mirror so that she could see herself after she puts all of her dresses and accessories on.
She tried on her dress and looked in the mirror. You can see that she was happy with what she saw. She thought she was so pretty (and Mommy thought so, too!) There have been several times where she puts her dresses and accessories on and walks into the room and it just makes me want to tear up a little. I love seeing how much fun she has with her costumes. I was very pleased with the quality of this dress. I loved the color–she didn’t have any pink dresses yet so I knew this dress would offer a little more variety when she plays dress up. The length was perfect for her. It wasn’t too long or too short on her.
